I woke up this morning and it was 45 degrees outside and 60 in my RV. Remember… this is relative, because I left 90 degree weather in Florida. I was glad to figure out how to turn the heat on in my RV, and was pleased it actually works.
Today we visited Canterbury Shaker Village and learned all about the Shakers. Carolyn used to live very near another smaller Shaker community in Enfield, NH, so they were familiar to me. Here’s one of their clothes washers:

The next day we had a long boat ride on Lake Winnipesaukee.

It was a beautiful, clear day with nothing to do except relax and enjoy the ride.

I was surprised and pleased that the captain was a woman.

We are staying at Ames Brook Campground in Ashland, NH. Love this campground. There were lots of places to walk and lots of trees and hills and Ames Brook running though the campground.
