I’ve been driving for a couple of days. The first night we stayed in Arrow Rock, MO, a beautiful old pioneer town very near the Missouri River. The Missouri River is important here because it’s the river Lewis and Clark followed upstream, and so are we. Then we drove to Lawrence, Kansas, just west of Kansas City.
Our first stop was a big Lewis and Clark statue. My favorite is the dog, Seaman, a Newfoundland.
Next stop was the World War I Museum. Not my first choice… I made the best of it and will show you first the weird, then some interesting patterns.
Now for some interesting patterns…
All this and more at the World War I museum, overlooking downtown Kansas City.
