Today we visited the Nez Perce National Historical Park and learned about the Nez Perce Indians. The museum there had lots of their clothing.

Afterwards, Robb and Pat drove to the other side of the river, into Idaho, and drove up to the ridge of the mountains on that side. You can see both the towns of Lewiston and Clarkston plus the Clearwater River joining up with the Snake River.
This is looking south at Lewiston, Idaho on the left side of the river and Clarkston, Washington on the right side of the river. The Clearwater River is flowing from left to right to join the Snake River flowing south. Robb says there are 2 bridges, the blue bridge in the foreground and the newer bridge in the middle. Their names are Blue Bridge and New Bridge.The roads follow the river, and the hills on either side look like this, usually bare, sometimes with low shrubs.
