Theodore Roosevelt National Park

We visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park today.  They call them Badlands but they look much different than the Badlands I’ve seen in South Dakota – there’s more vegetation and color here.

First we saw wild horses.

There were endless fields of prairie dogs and their holes, but they were too far away to get a good photo.

Then came the buffalo.  Wow!  Up close and personal.
The Little Missouri River.
This place was so beautiful, and it was such a pleasure driving through it and looking at all the formations.
I could have used way more time to explore this park.

Tonight we went to the Medora Musical (since it was cancelled last night due to the rain).

They have singer, dancers, a band, and even horses.
